zeitgeist57
My wife discovered this oldschool game called "Vette!" from 1988 that has both 3.5" AND 5.25" floppy disks!!! Anyway, just for shits I wanted to play it, so I loaded it on my 2-yr old Dell...the game speed is so rediculously fast I can't play it! (For example, the music is being played at 200x speed, and the Corvette that is supposed to be slowly rotating at the game's beginning is spinning faster than a propeller!) I suxor at computer shit. Can someone tell me how to slow down my computer to a level meant to play this game? The 3.5 disc says (on the label): Spectrum Holobyte VETTE! IBM PC/CGA 384K 720K 3.5" Disk Please help! Thanks! smile.gif
Tractor
You could get a CPU regulator and run it before you start the game. It will try to slow down your CPU to 1988 levels. Problem is your CPU, memory, and bus are all way to fast so you'll probably never slow it down enough. Unless someone knows of a really good regulator software. Guest Rane
Happened to me when I was playing FF7 on my computer with a PSX emulator. There are programs to slow it down do a search for something that has to do with the problem. Like, game is going so fast I cant play it.
