MrMeanGreen
I cannot find a list of traffic codes anywhere on the net. 2133.0301 What is this? I was nailed in the 670 S-turn doing 77 in a 55 this morning, and I wanna make sure it's not a Reckless Op again. Sawbinder (Jim)? Anyone? SquirrelyNutsDSP
Ouch, sorry about your luck. I was told when I got my 67 in a 45 that he was writing me a ticket for speeding only... You could try the Ohio Revised Code http://onlinedocs.andersonpublishing.com/oh/lpExt.dll?f=templates&fn=titlepage.htm I couldn't find the Columbus specific codes using google. MrMeanGreen
Seth, thanks. But I checked that and this ticket is specific to Columbus code, not Ohio. Shawn, thanks too. I know Jim will know what this code is, being CPD and all
ttemper
i got nailed going 85 in a 65 and only got a ticket, no reckless op
MrMeanGreen
Ok. I know 20 over can be considered a Reckless Op if the cop wants it to be (I think). When I got my 97 in a 65 last year, I got one then. I just wanna make sure history doesn't repeat itself smile.gif
Mallard
The officer has to check the box for it to be reckless op. I got a higher one then you close to that area and it wasn't. Take it to court, you may be able to get no points.

If this is true, you really should have been hauled to jail. You only got a slap on the wrist compared to what you should've been given. SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT Everyone else is forced to go the speed limit what makes you think you're so special? It doesn't always get your where you want faster. I mean I can understand the occasional speeding at night when no one is around, but those fuckers that go 20+ the speed limit everyplace they go piss me off. Let me know if I can answer any more questions for ya!!Thanks Jim, it must be "D1" then. There's no other codes on the ticket, just "CTC" checked with the 2133.01D1. Another speeding ticket, yay. Does the $25 fee for another within twelve months count only for a CPD issued citation? I have one from November issued by the New Albany PD redface.gif
Sawbinder
Anthony on your ticket if he put it in the first red box and all he marked was speed then you are safe. Did he mark the little green box at the bottom left of the ticket that says summons of personall appearance required? Or just give you a court date to pay the fine by? If any more questions PM me with your number I have today off will be home after court today around 2:00 pm. By the way smurf you got let off easy if all that you got was the ticket. Don't get me wrong i speed as well and have and do break 100 but if i get caught its my own fault for being stupid. Don't blame the police for doing there jobs. you play with gas you will get burnt! TurboII7
If you are doing over 100 and get caught or even over 90 you don't have any room to complain at all, just deal with the ticket. 103 isn't that fast but there is no reason a cop should let you off for that. Guest 00Smurf
yes i am grateful he didnt take me to jail. im more pissed off at my self for being caught, than him for writing the tickett. eh perhaps it just bes to deal with it eh?. TurboII7
I am guessing since tickets are hand written by the officer he just thought that D1 was 01, and the ticket just said 2133.03D1
