I have been to PIB more than Buckeye lake. Have gotten more on buckeye.

Plus, that seadoo will beat the crap out of you, even on a "nice day."

LJ, what do you want to spend?

2-4k probably. I don't need anything spectacular. Something to take the friends out on, have fun, go fishing....ya know

What kinda boat you have Sam? I am looking to buy a boat this upcoming spring, just seein what people have

Picked this up about 2 months ago. Paid 7k, does 55-60 in the water according to the speedo, which I am sure is not true but it is fast as hell. Twin Rotax 110 motors FTW.... :)

Here is the reason I ask. I went to Lake cumberland last august. I had a good time on the house boat with the girl and some friends, but it wasnt much partying except for what we did on the boat which was alot dont get me wrong, but could of been better if there were actual places to go and party. Unless I didnt find the place at cumberland, but I did take the ski boat all over the lake looking..

Sam, I think that boat is going to beat the ever living shit out of you on Erie. I have a 17' Sea Ray bow rider, and I won't take it out on Erie. I've watched those Sea Doo's on Alum Creek, and they seem to bounce around more than mine does on the water. They are quick as hell and very manuverable though!

Yeah, I figure I can find something for what I "need" to do during the winter in that price range.

You need to come to our Cumberland party. During the poker run, at State Dock. 15,000 watts of stereo, done by a big local stereo company, gave out 8 kegs of bud light, around 200lb of pulled pork. Oh, the Pure Platinum girls from Lexington were working hard to make $50. At least thats what I was told. ;)

Here are a few pictures from the run, none from the party though. http://www.midamericanboating.com/picture_index.htm

Cumberland is TEH SHIT!! Been going there for the last 15 years. Just get a big ass boat and take a bunch of friends, I swear its a blast. I do agree there is not a lot of parting otherwise, but down by the falls during certain parts of the summer there are plenty of partiers that hang out there. You just gotta enjoy relaxing and kickin' it with friends. Just go with like 5+ couple or like 15 people and its awesome. We had 2 ski boats (malibu sunsetter and a ski natique) and 3 waverunners for 10 days, it was HEAVEN.

Yo, Solid Platinum girls from Lexington? Why didn't you mention that to me? That was my spot when I lived there. I know a lot of them pretty well, and about three of them really well.

Anyway, let's go to Put-in-Bay, and then sail to Hawaii. It'll take a while, but we can totally do it.
