AJ
no those are 11, this is as up to date as there is, i've been building a apartment and garage at my parants place so i haven't had any money for the car. hopefuly i can start working on it again here soon. i am very happy with the kit, for 2 grand i got the rotors, calpers, new hubs, brackets, bolts, master cylinder and the brake lines. also a bunch of shims. not bad since the kit origanily cost $3800. i love group buys lol. Mallard
they look bad ass, but say hello to rotational mass and good bye to atleast 7-10hp....? I don't think his car will care about the miniscule HP loss. BTW, nice brakes
AJ
I don't think his car will care about the miniscule HP loss. BTW, nice brakes yeah i was thinking the same thing....ok so we take 1000-10 (we'll go 10 just to be safe) = 990:thumbdown .....he may have a point, i'm going to need a bigger pair of turbos.:grin2:
Sturg1647545502
haha 990, what i wouldnt give to have 990hp! i've heard testaments from nasa racers that the gain you get from cornering and entry speeds with big brembos(or what have you) you can loose in the straight away(rotational mass being the culprit)? anyone else heard that? then again all you need to counterbalance that is a couple sets of carbonfiber wheels
Mallard
The carbon fiber wheels weigh just as much, if not more, then a good set of forged, billet, etc ('normal' - Al, Mg) wheels. Brakes are an important part of open tracking a car.
