JuicedH22
On Saturday, Goodyear invited us up to their test track for a track day for their sponsored FSAE teams. I have about 150 pics and and 20 vids, I will post a few pics and one of the videos to show ya how the day went. Oh, NO, our car does not have a body yet, and the HUD is still in progress, we still have a good amount of work to do, and still need to tune out to 15k, right now the rev limit is set to 11500 as that is as far as we have tuned thus far... Other teams besides us that were there: Toledo, OSU(gray primer), UofMissouri, and Akron's '98 car (now owned by Goodyear) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0886.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0888.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0895.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0901.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0910.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0919.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_0924.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_1048.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/100_1046.jpg video: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/FSAE/th_100_0959.jpg
coty061885
Damn, those things look fun. I remember seeing one up close at Mid Ohio last Fall.
BIG SHAFE
I don't think Goodyear owns the '98 car, I think Gullatta owns it himself (short guy that usually runs the day and one hell of a driver). He was on the team that built it. Rev it out to 15K? Our torque curve falls off after 12.5K and can barely rev to 14K. What motor are you guys running? Mallard
Awesome. Good luck at competiton. I'll hopefully make it there to watch and my friend will be walking around judging for Bosch. I did FSAE in 2004 and had a blast.

What motor are you guys running? we run the f4i, but we have much shorter runners, we drop off close to 14k on the 05 car The reason we tune to 15k is the PE controller can go to 12k or 15k (obviously changing resolution)

Ours is around 8K-12K rpms, we have a moderate length for our runners.
