Farkas
I know there is an additive you can get to make the paint have a satin finish which is very close to a flat black.

Rice Eater
If you call paint places they can help you. while I'm not a member, there is a car club I've seen on the west side called flat out racing and all their cars are painted flat black. You can also buy flat black in a can from Autozone and Pepboys, it's made by Krylon I think Rust tough is the line $4-$5 a can. This is paint and not primer. It comes in semi-flat, flat, and ultra flat.

XChris1632X
all your major paint companies will have a flat black, and now most of them are starting with the satin colors and their is even clear for satin.

88lx5oh
you do flat black jsut like you would gloss.. but instead of clear, you use a flatener. basically,... sealer, base, and flat where wiht gloss you would use clear instead of flat. hondas asphalt black thats on the 919 is a great color. Billiumss
Thats exactly what I am looking for too. Black paint with a semi gloss clear coat. I have a piece on my Camaro thats needs to be painted to flow with the rest of my bling...
88lx5oh
if you buff flat it will gloss up. its kind of a downfall, cause you gotta lay it on jsut right, there is realyl no room for mistake. but a flat doesnt show as much defect as a clear
