Hopefully locate a few sponsors for the 2008 season. !!!! planning on building a Chevy camaro tube chassis with a 406 turbo setup. it will poably look a lot like this but with a 10.5w Tire setup http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/82chevycamromydreamcar.jpg The chasis will be 25.5 for 7.50s and slower http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/993-lmycamarochassis.jpg and the power adder will be http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/myturbo4modifed.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/myturbo1modified.jpg any help! would be appreciated. Im not shure what class im running it in. im not doing dual 88s just a single so it will be underpowered for most classes. but will still be a quick car. Mattsv8
yea and im doing all the work myself. i did all of my s10 myself and it will most deffinatly be a 9 sec truck. and still streetable. this one is no street. full 5" dp no muffler. and i get a great discount at work "JEGS" . im planning on getting it done in 2008. which would really mean finished in late 2008. and racing in 2009. Guest mudbutt
if you are going to the extreme of a tube chassis, Id go larger than an
lawnman
I know a guy that built a 10.5 { not e.t. } twin turbo mustang. It supposed to have 1100 or 1200 hp. He wants to sell it . It is very similiar with the chasis and all. The best part is he wants to sell it for less than $20k. I think he said he had around 40k in it. Mattsv8
im not into mustangs but thanks. im building this myself. its what i always wanted. im starting off small with the t88. and a 406. after a season of tunning ill proably step up to a 106. but i need to learn to tune the chassis tranny, carb and what have you first. and just plain feel safe. lawnman
Understood. He actually said it has 1400 hp. I was wrong on the hp. I understand wanting to build it yourself, I have built 3 Cobra replicas. I actually enjoyed building them as much as driving them.
