I think the correction in 4th was from the spinnage in third. A correction that big is not so big when viewed from behind-if that makes sense. I think the lever you're seeing is the stage brake and not the shifter. I promise you it is H pattern shifted still. In fact, he lost an engine later that race after he went from 3rd to 2nd for the second time that day.
