While trying to get the harmonic balancer off with a puller, I managed to mess up the first few threads in the hole. The crank bolt will not thread itself now.

 

Am I screwed? What are some ways to get it to thread so I don't have to scrap this piece of shit car lol

chase it.....it its just the first few(thats why most good pullers have a crank saver washer in them) threads, you may have too grind them up some then run a chase thru it.
