r6allstar Posted November 18, 2008 Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 So I have been interviewing at a IT staffing firm in Columbus for about a month now and thought I had the job locked up on my last interview about 2 weeks ago but was WRONG! The hiring manager finally called me back last week and said that he wanted me to meet with one more person today before they make their final decision on who to hire (supposedly two other people to choose from). This job may be the deciding factor on whether I can afford to stay in Columbus so I am shitting myself I am so nervous Wish me luck, any advice? You got unix experience and a clearance, you're in, and I promise you'll get paid more then you would by some place that wouldn't use your clearance... I made a smart lunch choice so that I wouldnt do exactly that... tuscan chicken soup, cant chew soup with your mouth open interview is over with.. overall I think it went pretty well. other than they asked, "why should we choose you as over other candidates?" my answer " why would you choose someone else over me?" lol, i proceeded to tell them why I would choose myself but I hope they didnt take it the wrong way. just to be safe I threw in there that I wasnt trying to be cocky or over confident, just am very confident in my ability and am very ambitious and would succeed no matter what I was doing.
