When buying a bike with no title?

a bill of sale is nothing more than a hand written contract. If you'd like to take it step further you can have an attorney draw one up or at least have your hand drawn one notarized. Any notary/bank should be able to do that. And its common for bikes/atv/pwc's etc that are pre 1990 to only have bill of sales or weigh bills instead of titles.

good luck, bikes are fun

Make sure you know what all is involved in titling whatever it is you buy without a title. If it had one originally but you cannot contact the person who currently has/lost the title it can be a pain.

Thanks, I might try and use this if I end up with a title-less one. Ohh, and just for your info, that site is not official and in no way affliated with the Ohio BMV.

I realize that, I cant say for sure the ohio bmv even has an "official" bill of sale doc. They are all the same, you just need your info, their info, property being transferred info, date, notary, and some legal jargon. All the form is doing is saving you some typing. Like this one better?
