FS: LT1 engine, ecu & harness from '95 z-28

Now that the T-56 is gone, I want to get this thing out of the garage as well. It sounded pretty good before I pulled it out of the car so I'm sure with a minor freshening up, it would work pretty well for someone. Comes with the ECU & harness. I've got the motor mounts as well and a few other misc items still left over like the A/C compressor that I'll throw in with it. The PS pump is also still connected, so that comes with it as well.

I think $800 is a fair price, but like with the T-56, everything is negotiable.

Here's two shots of the engine as it sits now.

Bill, yeah that's one F-Body site I have yet to register on. If you're willing, I'd appreciate it greatly if you would list it for me. I can't stand people that register on sites just to list items for sale, so that'd be cool if you would.

Thanks man!

Jesus Christo! Do people not understand English?

anthonyp50 (10:39:45 PM): anyone home?

anthonyp50 (10:40:17 PM): I am interested in the lt1 motor you have listed on tech...

trtsc1975 (10:42:25 PM): hey...how's it going

anthonyp50 (10:42:53 PM): im good, u?

trtsc1975 (10:42:46 PM): not too bad...where'd you see it listed?

anthonyp50 (10:43:14 PM): ls1tech

trtsc1975 (10:43:10 PM): cool....i need to clear up some space

anthonyp50 (10:44:03 PM): i want to buy a motor that doesnt not need any freshing....just a drop in.....would it be ok

trtsc1975 (10:44:30 PM): seemed like it was decent...i didn't get to drive around with it since the car was screwed up, but at 125k miles, it seemed like it ran pretty well

trtsc1975 (10:44:37 PM): everything is still intact

anthonyp50 (10:45:05 PM): didnt smoke or knock?

trtsc1975 (10:45:15 PM): nope...sounded good...might just need a minor tune up since it's been sitting for a couple months since i pulled it

trtsc1975 (10:45:24 PM): maybe just new plugs etc

anthonyp50 (10:47:04 PM): I see, you offering any kind of warranty/standing behind it

anthonyp50 (10:47:11 PM): I run a shop of of louisville ky

anthonyp50 (10:47:21 PM): and this will be going into a impala

anthonyp50 (10:47:26 PM): that has a rod knocking

trtsc1975 (10:47:58 PM): na...i'm not able to offer anything like that...at 650, it's a good price and about as low as i can go

anthonyp50 (10:49:02 PM): im not asking for a lower price...just saying if i got it in the car and it knocked or had low oil pressure if you would refund

anthonyp50 (10:49:07 PM): i have been screwed before

trtsc1975 (10:50:01 PM): honestly man...i bought the car...drove it on a trailer, pulled it home...backed it off the trailer and drove it into my garage...hard for me to warranty something that i have so little time with...if it were my car and i pulled the motor it'd be a different story...it is what it is

anthonyp50 (10:50:56 PM): ok then...i definitely don't want to buy something i need to go through

anthonyp50 (10:50:58 PM): good luck

anthonyp50 (10:51:01 PM): thanks

trtsc1975 (10:52:20 PM): seriously...do you think any other place would offer a warranty on a motor that has 125k miles?

anthonyp50 (10:52:58 PM): im not asking you to tell me it will be ok for years to come

anthonyp50 (10:53:06 PM): something along the lines of what a junkyard would

anthonyp50 (10:53:08 PM): 30 days

anthonyp50 (10:53:19 PM): something that protects me from it being bad to begin with

trtsc1975 (10:54:15 PM): i'm not a junkyard or a business, just a guy trying to clear out some space in my garage. i've parted out the entire car so far (including the T-56) and everyone understands, you buy used parts from an individual...you don't get a warranty...good luck in your search

anthonyp50 (10:54:53 PM): look at my feedback...

anthonyp50 (10:54:58 PM): ive done like 30 deals

anthonyp50 (10:55:12 PM): i understand im not expecting a warranty

anthonyp50 (10:55:34 PM): but something that when it starts up and knocks

trtsc1975 (10:57:18 PM): no warranty is being offered with this sale...take care
