Asking for a friend and i'm too lazy to search for him Nope. Won't work. Time Warner has to add the modem to their NOC. Sorry.
mrs.cos
I think that if you call TW and and give them the modems information they will authorize it.. we did it in dayton.
thorne
yes we do support 3rd party modems my suggestions is dont as we will do it free . Its better to use ours as we update are firmwares to fix bugs
ImUrOBGYN
Or if you let Thorne come over and start messing with it while you're cleaning your house. Apparently, he's paid extra if he messes up someone's third party router.
Nitrousbird
Should work with Warner, works with WOW too. Just call in with the modem MAC address. BUT, writing general firmware for modems many times isn't as good as the firmeware for specific models a company carries (goes for any cable provider). IMO it is better to use your service provider's modem.
Flyin Miata
We had to call in to TW before it would work. And even though it works now it still likes to cut out a lot because it's third party. We just called and they told us to reset the router, then he did some stuff on his end and we had internet.
