just got home from picking it up in Lancing Mi. 2001 Z06 with 72k on it. brand new tires, borla cat back and stock everything else. plus its super clean and has the Mod red interior. i think its time to start ordering parts.

C6 Z06 brakes and shocks, T1 sway bars, Head/cam swap, long tubes and then i'm done. don't know if i'll get all that done this winter or not but i'm gonna try.

 

What's the advantage to the c6 parts? Better than the C5 while cheaper than aftermarket? Just curious. You shooting for 500whp or any sort of goal? Good luck, car looks sweet.

no real goal, 450ish would be good but higher or lower i'm ok with, just want to pick up some to help out on the track with (one with turns lol)

C6Z calipers are 6 piston front and 4 piston rear with a 14" and 13" rotor while the caliper weighs less. so it will stop faster and the shocks have better valveing so it will handle better.

my cost on the brake upgrade all the way around is $1700 for 2 sets of pads, 4 rotors and 4 calipers. i had more than that just in the rear brakes on my camaro.

sure but you start facing the other way and have to turn around at the hit.
Now thats a new idea.

 

That z06 would most likely stomp the shit out of me atleast with a good driver and traction it would. My wife is sick of me talking about wanting a vette.
