Track rental this Friday. What if...

The quickest my car has gone is 12.19 in the 1/4, but that was with stock gears and stock street tires. I've upgraded the gears and I'll be using drag radials Friday. My question is, what rules kick in if I dip into the 11's(I can dream)? Will I be unceremoniously escorted from the track if it doesn't meet these specs?

Heck, if I do get into the 11's, I may be too excited to take another lap anyway. ;)

The drive shaft loop might be a problem, but I'm only using drag radials, not full-on slicks. Besides, if the NHRA knew what they were doing with the GTOs, they'd make us use half-shaft loops instead, since it's the axles that break first on these things.

Thanks for the input. I don't think I have to worry about the sub-11.49 regulations just yet.

I'm assuming you got the 3.91s ... you could see a .3 - .5 increase there alone and you'll need the DRs to get that. This weeks cooler air should get everyone some good times if Trails is prepped well.

I just had 3.73s installed but had to drop out of the CR rental because my car won't be ready. Meziere pump failed on me. But I'll find out soo enough on the 18th at the BuckeyeGoats rental how they've improved my 60 ft. Sorry to miss you this time...good luck.

Dude, you're going to need a cage soon. 11.49 is right around the corner. :)
