kylek
A friend of mine had his 05 GSXR750 stolen last night from his new apartment in New Albany. Unique flat black paint job. Paint was cleared flat(no graphics), not rattle can Yosh pipe, Matris damper, no front signals, no mirrors, renthal gray grips and continental race tires. He has posted pictures on craigslist with his number. If anyone sees it please call him 614-783-9528. His name is Kasey. http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/803362567.html

ICEMAN1647545504
Did it get stolen from his garage or in front of the appartment??? If it was from his garage he can claim it on his renters policy (if he has one)...
Nick
He had a rope lock on it to the wheel of his truck, and they took the time to hacksaw the lock. it was parked outside.
kinkinhood
I hope he had comprehensive insurance. It's probably crashed somewhere by now.

Do thieves really go to that trouble just to joyride? I figured that stolen bikes got parted out and liquidated on e-bay in about 12 hours. kinkinhood
It's really not hard to essentially hotwire a bike for joyriding. Take a screwdriver, shove it in the key socket, grab it with a channel lock, turn clockwise, bike unlocked. Then you just hit the switches and go. They'll ride it until it's out of gas then sometimes dump it somewhere or sell off the parts.
