KillJoy
I just purchased (yet to receive) a Verizon LG Voyager w/ the "Internet Package". I have been told that I can tether the phone to my Notebook and use it to get online. Is the Verizon internet fast enough to replace my Time Warner RR? MrMeanGreen
Not through the phone, it isn't.
Akula
If you like Road Runner, you won't like the internet access via the phone. It gets it there, but not well.

smokin5s
They are in the process of upgrading he towers from Rev 0 to Rev A, once this is done, it should be pretty peppy! Supposedly the new BlackBerry Thunder is supposed to be the first BlackBerry to run Rev A.
CRed05
I've used a 3G phone as a modem to a laptop before...pretty fast, but its great for when traveling, not for heavy duty home use.

04r1
I use a Verizon USB data card and speeds are great for web surfing and minimal downloading. If you are a booger eater and download stuff all day, stay with road runner.
Nitrousbird
I have a Sprint PCMCIA wireless card for my work laptop. Not as fast as a broadband connection (Road Runner is a marketing tool...please stop calling it that). I also noticed very high latency as well. It works, and if you travel a lot can work well enough when you are at home, but overall it doesn't compare to other broadband solutions.
