Noob question here, but what is it that gives the cigar it's flavor? Does it have anything to do with the leaf it's wrapped in? Or is it purely the tobacco? Or a combination of both?

It's a combination of the both.

Well, it is my cousin and I have purchased 3 boxes in the past. They have Cuban Tax Stamp on the box.

I have purchased Cohibas (Robustos and Siglios) (spicy smoke, very oily wrapper) and some Romeo y Julietta.

tell me what you want and I can have them get them.

As far as cube's go, i'd like to split a box of 20 or 25.

I deffinately want ten, so whatever you guys want to do with the extra 10-15 is cool, we can whack it up.

as far as Cigars....

Size - i'd like something the size of a churchill or comparable. Say 6.5-7.5 inches long with a 50+ ring gauge.

Wrapper - The darker the better

Price - Let me know

Takers - We take the cigars, whack up the price, i want ten, you guys do what you want with the rest.

Any tips/tricks for keeping cigars in humidors?

Season it before you use it, let it sit 24 hours after you season it (before you use it).

Re-up the humidification devices once every two weeks, never over-wet them. Always use distilled water.

With good upkeep of a humidor, Cigars can last a lifetime!

I would do this and would like around 5-7. Please someone PM me on the details.

Do you keep the cigars in the wrapper or take them out? Also how do you make sure not to over-wet the device?

Want to hear the good part? Cancer of the mouth.

And you do exactly what to keep yourself healthy? You can't criticize others for doing things that are unhealthy if you don't necessarily do anything to try to be healthy (other than things you don't like to do anyways).

Haven't smoked a cigar for a while, which means it's about time. We should all get together somewhere and have some drinks and a smoke.

I just went to Smoke Signal today up at polaris(behind cheeseburger paradise) to check it out. They have a very nice, large selection in there. I ended up trying a Cusano M1. The guy suggested it as a "great, mild, cheap cigar." The size was a 6.5 x 42 but they had several different sizes all around the same price. For only being $3 it is what i would expect.

Any other good cheaper cigars to try next time?

Churchill's Cigar Shop at David P Ehlrich & Co. in Boston is the 2nd oldest smoke shop in the U.S. and is basically the best place I've ever been to have a smoke and a glass of wine. Walk in humidors are the shit.

I do not know how I missed this up until now..... but....

I enjoy Padron Fumas. VERY mild, natural, hand rolled from the scraps of the "big boys".

Also, an Acid Liquid was given to me by Hal...... VERY NICE! But the $$$ :(

KillJoy

PS - The Fumas are CHEAP!!!! :D

Cusano 18 is in my top 5, and kinda inexpensive

My favorite smoke is the Maria Mancini Maduro, its like 4 bucks

Number two on my list is a Gurkha MAster Blender... they are about 10, but worth every penny

Also, i am a true believer of CAO, the Italia, Brazilia, and gold maduro are all perfect cigars in my book.
