Got Dad's Mustang running

Got it to move under it's own power, but we still have lots to do to it. My Dad and I took this car apart 5 or 6 years ago, and finally the drivetrain is back in the car. Engine needs some tuning, needs the brakes bled out some more, and now we can move on to some body work and interior stuff.

A few people also wanted to see my Dad's Jeep, so here it is. Built it back in about 1980. Back when you couldn't just go buy a lift kit for things, he had to rearch the leaf springs and make some shackles. So it rides really stiff. There is so much work that has gone into it over the years. Right now has some 37" tires on it, but when I was a kid it ran on 44" tires. It's still a big handfull with no power steering and no power brakes.

Mustang sounds nice... What's the combo???

I don't have the cam specs, but it's a solid lifter, World products Victor Sr heads, Victor jr intake, Holley 750 cfm double pumper, Mallory billet distributor, stuff like that. Car has a toploader 4 speed, and a 9 inch. It's an original 68 GT fastback, built in, and originally from California. One of my Dad's friends moved here in the late 70s and the car sat in his garage until 96 when he decided to sell it to my Dad because he was moving back to California. Car has very little rust, just a few small sections in the fenders.
