cinergi
I own a fair number. Small folders to large fixed blade. Not to take any sales away from Cenergi but you may want to check out Rivers Edge Cutlery near 270 and Cemetery Rd, http://www.riversedgecutlery.com . Huge selection of knive of all sorts, kitchen type as well. Also a stocking Maxpedition dealer. +1 for River's edge, but have you seen their selection lately? After having talked to Mike and Brian, they said they're pretty much just going to be doing sharpening from now on. It's a shame... a lot of my collection came from there. DJ's went out of business, too. No one is really doing a deep selection of strictly pig stickers here in Columbus.
schmuckingham
I carry a Benchmade and love it, its light a slim but sturdy. http://www.benchmade.com/products/product_detail.aspx?model=
spankis
Are these both spring assisted? I looked at the benchmade griptilian and originally liked the design. I know mine ( the Kershaw ) is. You just get it initially started with your thumb, then it springs open and locks on its own.

I think he is just doing shows now that the retail store is gone. Good guy and knows his stuff. As far as a EDC, I really like my CRKT M16. It is light and comfortable in the grip, the liner lock and LAWKS system inspire confidence during hard cutting chores, and it comes in a full plain edge (I hate partially serrated). eBell
Cenrgi- No I haven't been there in a about two months. That news is kind of crappy to hear. Hopefully they'll change their mind. Nice guys that always had a grat selection, auto-assist included. My B.I.L. takes enough large old school killing tools there for a sharpening that he may pay for at least one months rent. He'll be happy to hear they'll still be available for that task. guess I should go pay them a visit. You know, casue I need another knife to sit in a drawer. There is nothing like a triple post to start out a wonderfull Air Force day. :bangbang: I have that same Kershaw, and it is spring assisted. Too bad the spring just broke on me, but other than that it's a great knife.

Guest 614Streets
I got that rambo one at habor frieght and inside the cap was matches, needles and thread and a compass. Plus the somolian working the register rung up two 12 ton jackstands for $5.00 , I handed him a ten dollor bill and he handed me back a $20.00 bill for change. I kid you not. afterwards I ate two or three double stacks from wendys, obviously on the somalian. Sometimes its good. Also a guy from the westside told me its bad luck to open somebody else's knife. WTF

Rotarded1647545491
I own many knives, but most of my favorites are Gerbers. You cant beat them for the money. #1 Carry knife: Gerber Gator plain edge, clip point: http://www.knivesplus.com/media/GB-6069.jpg I also love Cold Steel Knives
cptn janks
mine fell out of my pocket today I had a really nice Benchmade knife (courtesy of Greg) that I used to carry....until it fell out of my pocket and got lost someplace. Now I carry a CRKT M16-10Z. It's part of their EDC (Every Day Carry) line. It's like a $35 knife so If I lose it it's no biggy. It's actually a nice knife tho. I recommend it. evan9381
the griptilian isnt spring assisted, AFAIK, but it only takes a flick of the thumb to open. its not very tight at the hinge you need your other hand to open it.

Now I can't find my damn EZ-Out Skeleton. What is it with me misplacing good Gerber knives? Shit. Now I'm gonna have to tear the place up lookin for it. If you want to see some of his custom work, check it out here: http://www.darrelralph.com/ Also sick, a little towards the "fantasy knife" side of things, but they look pretty rugged and serviceable, too. Personally, though, I prefer not to buy something that I wouldn't want to stick into a deer up to my wrist...I'd be afraid of scratching one of those...Beautiful work, though. Draco-REX
He has some gorgeous balisongs. I assume balisong knives are illegal in OH though. I really want one again.
GonneVille
Actually, I don't think they are. I know switchblades are still banned, but that's just a left-over law from the days when a switchblade was the weapon of choice for "young hoodlums"...oh, for the good ole days, huh? But if they're legal in OH, I getting one again.. My old balisong was so handy. They sell em at just about every surplus store in the state, so I can only assume they're legal here. The MA ban on balisongs, or "butterfly knives" is for the same reason as the switchblade ban here: Swithcblades were popular with gang members and other minor criminals back in the 50's and 60's, balisongs took their place in the 70's and 80's. XChris1632X
http://sogknives.com/store/TF-7.html I finally picked one out. Half the reason I decided on this one is because I ordered it through AAFES and it will come right to the BX on base. It was the first to really catch my eye and was everything I wanted. The best part is on their website it says $110 and it cost me $49 including free shipping to me straight from the manufacturer. Hopefully it wont take a month to get here like the rest of my packages.
