We can make the correct changes to each class but this is a start. Everyone on this site pretty much falls into one of these categories. We don't need a designated King of CR we need a King of each class.

I like that also

see now the 200k built cars are crying foul cause of the aftermarket block rule.

for you guys, we will have the Fastest CR vette? will that get your panty's out of a bunch?

Wait wait... I think I got it.

So basically we are going to have a King of CR for the fastest Car/Truck on Columbus Racing that isn't Mark or myself.

I understand now, Should have put that in the original rules.

For the record I could really give a shit about being the fastest on CR. IMHO Jamie owns that title and I don't see anybody here coming close to beating that anytime soon? And if your talking true street car, which is it's own conversation in itself, then Mark and I have it. But who cares? If we're going to have a CR competition, have classes so everybody in their respective category's have a chance.

We can also have a King of CR Trucks only. Rules are the truck must be bone stock and a Ford with 4 doors. Lets do it! I'm ready!

Rules:

Run what you brung and hope you brung enough

Fair for all then?

If you have to come up with a class or rules then it should be called something other than King of CR.

King = fastest period

Rules and classes = NMCA, NMRA, NHRA

Thoughts?

Class rules are fair...

If Jamie brings his Supra, I'd love to see it run even though it is way faster than my car. Why would he bring it if id didn't qualify?

Who want's to see Jamie's car run 7.XX?

Who want's to see my car run 8.XX?

Who want's to see Jason's new Camaro run Whatever it will run?

I always enjoyed going and seeing the cool old cars that go slow and the really high dollar new cars that go fast. I just like to see racing!

Making a competition that doesn't allow someone just because they are faster or spent more is stupid. Someone is always faster and someone can always spend more.

I never had an issue with having multiple classes. My only concern was trying to not make things overly complicated on the first time out.

This could work, slight mods need to be made. But this is looking like the only chance anything can get off.

Awesome lets makes the necessary modifications to the classes and be done with it. I want to see everyone come out for this not a select few and have people upset they can't compete. It should be fun and unfortunately there needs to be ground rules set to keep things fair.

I'm down to change Outlaw class to a slick as well.

Earon I would say you fall in to Super Stock just for the fact you have a .30 over motor but pretty much everything else is factory. Like I said there will be needed adjustments for people. Rules can be bent to accept people into classes as well. This isn't the NHRA, NMCA, NRMA this is plain and simple CR.
