Blacktop repavers?

I need a couple of referrals to people that can re"tar" (recoat? recover?) my asphalt driveway in a couple of months? UA is repairing the curbs on my street, and part of the driveway will be destroyed. Therefore, I will need to get this done afterwards...

Bastards, they aren't fixing it? I know when Bexley did this on my street they came back within the the next week or so and fixed everything they had messed up, including replanting sod.

No, no...sorry for the confusion. They are going to fix all the property/driveway damage...even negotiated a concrete apron/approach to boot! I was just going to seal the rest of the driveway after the road/curb/apron work is done by the city...

Is this something people have done themselves? I'd imagine it could be a PITA on a hot day, but if it is cheaper to do it myself with high-quality products then I might give it a whirl. Not sure what all is involved...

If your sealing it, just buy a bucket or 2 of homedepots top of the line sealer, $20 maybe a bucket, a sealer squegee($5), pour and spread. It goes quickly. Theres usually 3 different grades of sealer. You may also want to clean any oil spills off with cleaner and I believe they have a primer to cover these with. They also sale crack filler, for well cracks if you need it.
