Ok guys. Its been 1 week of work. Lots of hardwork but I'm happy with how it looks. We had to light up the garage

with the head lights. Here is a peak.

setbacks :(

The bumper beam subaru sent is the wrong one.

I also think I need another tranny piece. I'm calling

monday. Sam's been great and I'm sure will have it

to me quickly.

I've got to respray a fender. Lesson DO NOT SPRAY ABOVE .

For the roof fine but we had allot of repairs on this bumper

and it causes texture issues when applied from above.

It's coming back off the car and going to be resprayed.

We do have most of the car together.

I went ahead with Draco's help and did the Bug eye mod.

I did it a little diffrent. Instead of full on black on the edges

I did like a speckle of the duplicolor stuff.

Sorry or the low qaulity shots Ty will be over to take more shots.

A few things to note. We've learned from the trunk lid you have to

Spray the car down after painting to get the excess residue off.

Trying to blend the pattern much before then is pointless.

Pattern wise you can get pretty uniform. But there are a few still spots.

I'm going to see if I can blend it better once I get the car power

sprayed.

BUT

Even with the texture changes the reaction from everyone local has been

that it looks evil. I really like how it sparkles in the sun.

This project is a diffcult one. But if your like me and want to

Rally your car or your paint is shot and your worried about rusting

your baby out and don't have a huge budget to fix it. This looks awesome.

I think it could look good also using the roll onn product. I have not tested

But I'm thinking about testing it out. It may be easier to lay down.

This has been a long project and I promise how to video and final outdoor shots

of the car as soon as I get it on the road.

It's a awesome option.

Hey bill, you should've bought the tintable stufff...check out this gti, it turned out really nice, the finished pics are near the bottom of the 1st page....i dunno, for some reason the color makes it a lot better, maybe because the black or grey most people do looks like primer at first glance.

UPDATE !!!!

So I came out this morning and there was some nice light. So I snapped off a couple more pics with my iphone. I really like how it looks. the white stuff you see in the cracks is not silver showing its dust/dirt that needs sprayed out.

The tranny is being worked on today and hopefully I can get her moving again soon.

I like these shots you can see my tinted windows and the wheels. These are not my offroad/rallyx wheels.

So own with the pics.

Note. There is texture differances but I'm not touching anything else up till i powerwash the car down and get all the crap off it.
