I'm thinking the following: -Replace Mater's round headlights with Cleetus' quad headlights (can still have one missing) -Chrome out Mater's wheels, go to a single rear -Get rid of the tow rig on the back...make Mater look like a pickup, not a tow truck -Possibly change Mater to a faded blue/white two-tone. Make it look old and worn, little rust is fine. I don't want my truck to look like a Cars character...more like what Mater would look like if his character was based on my '82 Silverado.
