ChevyMan1972
Friends, Well the wife and I found a deal to good to pass up. We now are a 1st time Ford owner and I am proud to say we love the car. The car is a 1967 Ford Custom 500, 250 cu in 6 cyl, with 3 on the tree. No plans of upgrading the engine we are just going to do some minor upgrades and drive the car, it has 75,000 miles on it, and the car came from out west so the car is solid. Here is some pictures to share. http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k198/weavedan/1967Fordcustom500002.jpg http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k198/weavedan/1967Fordcustom500001.jpg
TimTaylor751647545500
Looks pretty good. I'd address those rear quarter areas promptly. Looks like a fun cruiser.

ChevyMan1972
Everyone, Here are a few changes made to the car, Lowered the car a bit and added 15" x 8" rear steel rally's, and new BFG's 255-60-15's. Also cleaned up the engine bay I will post more pictures later.. Let me know how it looks. I LOVE this car. I could jump in it and drive all the way to Cali for sure it drives that good! http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k198/weavedan/Hotrod1.jpg http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k198/weavedan/Hotrod2.jpg
Trouble Maker
Like the way that car looks. I'd love to pick up an older car like that here in a few years. Not a show car, but something solid to go drive around on the weekends.
boosted98gst
Wow that car looks sharp, must be a fun cruzer.
nurkvinny
Add some Mooneye stickers somewhere and you're set. The best thing about these cars is the coolness-per-dollar factor.
zeitgeist57
I was going to say "drop 'er!"...but you did that already and it looks as good as I thought it would. Try to get the rust addressed as soon as you possibly can. White paint shouldn't be difficult to match on a bootstrapped budget after working out the problem cancer areas. An old car is rare enough that it never gets old seeing it run around town.
