I just got this for my birthday and it is the same watch I had in middle school back in the 1980's. Totally retro and a great conversation piece. Great watches don't need to cost a fortune. I will say, that video was amazing.

I appreciate your individualism and opinion, but...

I'm sorry if I offend your taste but that watch screamed "I'M A GEEK!" back in the 80's....and yet I can still hear it screaming the same thing today!

I never said a watch had to be expensive to be coveted...?

No you never did and there are quiet a few on here for less then $100 that are pretty slick.

Rotarded,

I was a dork in middle school! Actually I still and a big dork, but I am fine with that. :) Where did you fine a picture of me? I love that neon background! Classic.

Inside the Louis Moinet Magistralis rests a piece of a 2,000-year-old lunar meteorite.

Why?

Made from an 18-karat white-gold case packed with 322 diamonds

Why?

This Chopard has 66 carats worth of diamond-encrusted glory.

Why?

The watch face is somewhere there in the middle, surrounded by 201 carats.

Why?

Seems like a bunch of those watches are gaudy pieces of shit, the only reason they're worth anything is because of the precious metals and stones that are glued to them. A watches value is in its complications... even if a tourbilon is useless on a wristwatch.

BR is hit or miss with many people.

I would buy a BR only if i had a couple other higher end watches to begin with. BR almost has a novelty look to it. I dig most of them though.

NFW has a similar look, but A LOT less expensive:

The only similarity i see is that those have a square case like the BR. It lacks the simplistic aesthetic of a BR. That watch you posted has more going on than a techno song.

Linn, PM incoming, I know of a watch that looks more like a BR and cost less than the one rotarded posted.

I like Invicta's... I have 4 of them myself... Good quality watch at a reasonable price... I like my Tag the best but I dont wear it too often due to the fact that everytime I wear it i almost break it... Bad luck I guess... I'm wearing my Alessi now... I love this thing... Just like this one but mine is all black...
