Fonzie
Was perusing my March Motorcyclist a little more, and just found this in their monthly feature. Not sure if you'll be able to read it or not (too small??), but it says he likes to cruise US 24 from Defiance to Toledo in his off season from racing How COOL would that be if we could get an Indy 500 champ to come out riding with us?!? Fonzie
'Cause he's racing NASCAR now. I don't think he's raced Indy for the last year or

Moto-Brian
Yeah, the tires tell the story... Most pro athletes like bikes, but have clauses that concern street and race bikes. They typically buy bikes because they can and as any kid, they had a facination with them. He probably sucks at riding at any higher level of ability...Not too many car guys convert well to bikes. But bike guys convert well to cars...He might be an alright guy, but I really hate when the stars and athletes are posing with their steeds in an effort to reach out to other demographics of fans... Understand that motorcycle racing typically only gets outshined by NASCAR in terms of fan base that attend races...
Fonzie
He's an asshole Why? Never heard that before. Always seemed pretty decent in the interviews I've seen, and I've always kinda rooted for him since he's a local boy.....Not that I'm a huge race fan, mind youNow Danica & Tony Kannan.....They're stuck up A-holesObviously if you guys are able to see his occupation & comment on his "strips", you're able to read the article OK then?check out those chicken strips!!They look about the same as mine I was just surprised how bone stock it looks......Except of course, for the "Mobil" stickers Hell......He's even got the mudflap on it still Edited February 11, 2009 by Fonzie
Cdubyah
That would be pretty sweet Fonzie. Born in Bryan Ohio, he lives in Napoleon Ohio. I have no idea where that is.Just hope he would be a better rider, than NASCAR driver.Seems pretty laid back.
e-flores
He's an asshole.....no not really.... i have actually met him a few times. when i used to race karts i saw him in and out of the kart shop all the time getting parts for his shifter kart and just hanging out, him and his dad would be at camden running every once in a while so he could get used to driving smooth. my engine builder spent two racing seasons with him in italy as his mechanic too, he had no complaints about the guy. gixxie750
i read that article in my mag. It would be cool, but i'm sure he just wants to ride his own pace and his own road. he has way too much on the line to learn how to crash his sportbike. Hell if we can find a way to contact him it would be cool at least..

Blitzburgh
He might be an alright guy, but I really hate when the stars and athletes are posing with their steeds in an effort to reach out to other demographics of fans... Understand that motorcycle racing typically only gets outshined by NASCAR in terms of fan base that attend races...I doubt he is standing beside a bike to try and get more fans.. Nascar has WAY more fan base then motorcycle racing both in and out of the stands in the USA. Most of the Nascar drivers started out as little kids with gocarts and moved up the rank in local tracks. The guys race because they love it.. I have personally talked to at least 10 Nascar drivers and most of them at local Ohio tracks that they run WHILE in Nascar.. I have never talked to one that was a prick yet..Now drag racing is a whole different story.. Mid 90's I was at the track every weekend racing my 85 cutlass... I was a HUGE John Force fan until the day I was at the track to watch him. I had VIP tickets(that I paid top dollar for, sold by HIS race team) and I overheard that prick say "ohh great more fucking lowlifes I have to waste my time with". Never watched Drag Racing again... Longshot....I know.......Hi.....I just saw Sam in the March issue of "Motorcyclist" magazine, and thought that was great he enjoys riding & has a bike. I live just south of Toledo, and was excited to see him mention that he sometimes rides US 24 between Napolean & T-town. I also belong to a web forum called "OhioRiders.net" for motorcycle enthusiasts in & around Ohio. We often get together for charity events, group rides, camaraderie, etc & would love to extend an invitation to Sam to come check us out. There are rides & riders of all different skill levels, with dirt, drag, street, & track all represented. If you could please pass this info on to Sam, or give us another way to contact him, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time

I'd be pissed too if I heard him say that, but what's weird is that he grew up poor and lived in a tiny trailer in the white ghetto. Odd that he said that.
