Brandon
"Perhaps" Interesting considering the surge in turbo systems for this chassis. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/16/not-done-yet-lutz-says-perhaps-to-twin-turbo-camaro/ Regards

Tripleskate
Not going to happen. As a whole, the American public who aren't car inclined won't resonate with a turbo-charged v6 camaro car. They will hear "V6" and then it's in one ear and out the other. wagner
That car is full of more win than a BJ from a toothless hooker. Maybe they will make it happen and really lay the hurt on.
Ry_Trapp01647545522
unfortunately, the awesome bob lutz says a lot of stuff that usually ends up getting the ax by the bean counters.

While at General Motors, Lutz championed the import of the Holden Monaro to the United States as the Pontiac GTO. Other cars such as the Cadillac Sixteen Concept; Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice; Pontiac G8; Chevrolet Malibu; Cadillac CTS; Buick Enclave; Cadillac Converj Concept; Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept; Chevrolet Camaro Concept; Chevrolet Camaro (production version); Chevy Beat, Groove and Trax Concept Studies; and 2010 Buick Lacrosse, Chevrolet Equinox, and Cadillac SRX are said to be Lutz initiatives. Trouble Maker
Ehh, V6. Only good V6 F-body was the 89 TTA. Why would this be any different. Twin turbo v6?

They will hear "V6" and then it's in one ear and out the other. i think you would be suprised. The v6 camaro has already made a name for itself by having 300 hp and still getting 30 mpg. This car is supposed to still get that 30 mpg as long as you dont beat on it to hard, while making a decent amount more power. So as long as they can keep it priced decently, i think they would sell like crazy. Also i read something a while back that gm was thinking of doing something like this to compete with an ecoboost mustang (if ford did make one) and the GT-R
TTQ B4U
Love the look. Excellent stance, very nice wheels, hood treatment is good too. Let's just hope it is produced and doesn't cost upwards of high 30's or low 40's.
Mallard
A TT 3.5L DI V6 could easily get 500 HP, and still get them 30 mpg for CAFE standards. (Of course it would be tuned to around 400HP so it slots below the V8...unless a TTV6 could be priced higher.
Rally Pat
I think its a great idea! I would buy one.
Billiumss
Great idea but it will never really sell since it will have the same power as the SS and cost a few grand more. Sure V6 cars are cheaper on insurance but that one won't since it will be classified as high performance.
thorne
The guys who are talking about how people will hear v6 and not be interested. I've been around cars long enough to know if you say the T word people get hesitant to play. The supra is a I6 and a helluva a car. I think with the direction injection this car would be fucking sick. I am willing to bet a tune "up the boost and lean it out" the car makes 425wheel. Go Go direct injection. I wonder if the injectors are big enough for some corn. Just like with the Genesis I would take the turbo model over the larger displacement model. But then again thats just me. Imagine stage 2.... Ry_Trapp01647545522
just happened to look up some info on this guy and saw this... no doubt about it, he's gotten some work done, but 95% of what he ever tells the press is 'off the record' as far as GM is concerned. and he usually says a lot, lol. Just like he said, I6. 7m was 3l, 1j was 2.5l, and the 2j was 3.0l all inline 6's.

boosted98gst
Trying to do what japanese cars did in the late 80's early 90's. Cars made 20 years ago with more power and with a real I6 motor.
