04r1
Who do you guys use for airline tickets? I need tickets to phoenix in January. Before I buy I wanted to make sure I was not missing some super cheap place to buy them.
dakotart
I think the last time I flew, I bought direct from southwest.com It should be noted that after you fly, you will receive credit card offers from one of their affiliates. Also, don't forget to add in all of the fees that are not already included in the airfare. i.e checked baggage fees.
KillJoy
I have used Jet Blue and Southwest recently. No issues with either... as long as you know what you are getting ahead of time... KillJoy
evan9381
if you're not worried about time of day for travel, hit priceline. shop around and find a bunch of rates, then go bid like 40% less. if they decline your offer, go up 5-10%. until they take a bid or one of the sites you shopped is cheapest. Trouble Maker
http://www.kayak.com I used them last time i flew. Was going to say that, it searches all of the search sites (priceline, expedia, travelocity, etc) and displays them all on their site. zeitgeist57
Surprisingly, I've had great flights to Chicago, Atlanta, Philly, and NYC (LaGuardia) through travel.yahoo.com You need a Yahoo profile, though (email works fine). Danielle
I just went through airtran to fly to florida. Tickets were really cheap if you had a stop, still the cheapest I found for a non stop flight. Im not sure if they go everywhere though, or just a few places. Akula
bing travel will tell you if the price is going to go up or down. Basically they are cheapest when you buy them direct from the airline.
KennyFKINPowerz
I work for Netjets so I go through them. Its not as big of a savings as you would think though. Sometimes expedia is a little better so I use them as well.
