What gun is this?

It's a .577 Tyrannosaur, supposedly the most powerful non-military round in the world. I don't doubt it at all. The designers were going for 2400fps with a .585" bullet, the same size as the .577 Nitro Express. The round is so hot that a lead or even a jacketed round CAN NOT be used. Here's the original video:

Note that the guy at 1:26 is firing a considerably smaller unidentified rifle, I think it might be a .600 Nitro Express.

Also, the last guy on the vid is firing a less powerful .700 Nitro Express version of the same rifle. Note the polished bolt where in the rest of the vid, the rifle has a blued bolt. That round in a double rifle damn near put me on my ass. The .700 used to be King Daddy of BFGs before the .50 rifles came out. Then the T-Rex came along and knocked it another rung down the ladder. The makers actually do NOT suggest using it for hunting large game, because if you miss, it takes so long to regain your composure and reload that you WILL NOT get a second shot. Considering that guns that big generally only get used on things like lions, tigers, and water buffalo, that is a BIG drawback.

EDIT: Found the info on the last rifle. It's a .700 Nitro Express rifle built on a .50BMG action by members of AccurateReloading.com. Also, the article has some info on ballistics and energy for the .577 T-rex: http://www.gunslot.com/articles/577-t-rex

For a good size comparison:

.308, .577T-Rex, .577Nyati, .600 Overkill, .600 Nitro Express, .700 Nitro Express
