What would be a great video/graphics card for under $100 that would be good for gaming and what not? thanks in advance, Paul

Igor
I dont know which kind of card you need AGP or PCI-E. So ill post both. If your computer is relatively new you'll have PCI-E. With XFX lifetime warranty you really cant go wrong. 87GT
nvidia geforce 6150LE I think. Came with the computer when I bought it 3 yrs ago. how would I tell its a pci-e or agp? Open up the case and look at the expansion port and look at the pics below. I only go with EVGA cards with at least 512MB of memory on them. 1024MB if I can afford it. 2 of the same video cards hooked up to 2 monitors if you want to be a baller like me. http://www.evga.com/ AGP is the brown port http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/pc/docs/article/991008/agp.jpg. PCI-E looks like this depending on the speed of it http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0c/PCI_und_PCIe_Slots.jpg/800px-PCI_und_PCIe_Slots.jpg

If that doesn't work then worry about a new card.

morabu
the type of ram on the graphics card makes no difference to your motherboard only the ram that fits directly into your ram slots on said motherboard
