Dr. Apex
I was just reading that DHL has handed over authority of their site to the city of Wilmington and they recently have contacted one of the local SCCA regions about holding some events there!! Yes, they WANT people to come there to race!! It sounds like OVR is in contact with the right people an maybe we can get in on a joint event down there, nothing is firm right now and I don't officially speak for the SCCA at all but regardless it's a new site that's relatively close and should be a huge expanse of concrete to use. I know I'll be headed there this summer regardless of who holds an event, I've yet to run on concrete but I hear it's addictive!!!
Rally Pat
Sean and I were talking about this the other day. Sounds like it could be fun, especially if it's a long sweeping fast course.

Dr. Apex
I've just been reading about the "Cooper Park" plans and the developers are very interested in working with the SCCA and getting local support for this, they plan on paving the entire infield so it can be used for multiple venues. If anyone knows how and where to get involved in this please post up about it!!
