Picked up a new ride for the summer, and got a new pistol as well!

1999 Formula, 84k miles, 2nd owner. Has mufflers and that appears to be it.

So yeah, today was exciting to say the least! Going to the range on Friday to try out the new gun and I'm gonna sign up for the spring track day next month to try out the new car!

Sorry if the pics suck, they are from my phone but the car is CLEAN.

Where did you find the car, from a dealer? friend? private seller? Looks great man. Any plans for it?

Local dealer.

Thanks man, I've wanted one for like 5 years probably, just never worked out before.

Definitely have plans, for now though I just need to do some research and figure out what way to go. I'm thinking a good start is a lid/filter, gears, tune and tires. Then who knows.

I believe i saw you crusing down 315N in it today, car looked clean...I'd definetly do an LS6 intake, lid, longtubes, ORY, and cat-back and gears then get it tuned...I'd recommend Dynotune for your tuning needs.

I have some gears if your interested, pm me if so.

I can recommend some nice mods and a helluva tuner to boot. You know how to reach me.

Nice new car :)

what....no love for the m&p? lol thanks.

And thanks everyone, I'm sure I'll be posting up soon.

Unless its stupid easy, I think 12.50s for a first goal sounds good. As of now I believe the car should do low 13s, at least from what I've read.

It is an A4, definitely not my first choice but you have to give somewhere, so I figured this was the least of a deal breaker, I'd rather a clean, low mile, not ragged on POS AUTO car, than a beat to shit 6spd one.

And yes, that probably was me on 315 earlier today, I was either heading to or from powell depending on which direction I was going. You weren't in the pink and black firebird were you? Not hate if you were, lol, but seriously it was fugly.

Headers are a must on these cars, it'll be a whole different animal.

I recommend pacesetter..

hmm, you have? I'd like to see how a couple mild mods changes the car...

Oh and I wish it was an SVT Focus, I did do a few SVT additions, the wheels, and the leather interior and a drop kit, but for the price I got this for I couldn't touch an SVT in the same condition/miles for nearly twice as much, so alas its slow as fook, but a solid daily.

I wouldn't worry, He'll sell it in a month anyways :).

What's up with the pistol? It looks like the trigger has broken off and glued back on?

its a trigger safety. the whole assembly cant be pulled back until the bottom portion is pulled first...if you try to push back on the trigger at the top only, it wont fire

kind of a shitty "safety" but it is what it is. ive messed with it unloaded and its hard to not pull the bottom section and the top only.

LOL, I love how you guys are all sour with what I do. What does it matter? I get bored easy, so I buy and sell cars, 99% of the times at a profit. So? I'm sorry you can't do the same.

Drive my car if you wanna know what brand not to install

Oooooh. Which ones did you go with the first go around? What don't you like about them? My 2 biggest things I want to know are how much noise they add, and how much actual power increase I will get.

the first set of longtubes i had were the pacesetters, i believe i gained 14rwhp and 15 ft lbs. of torque to the rear, they were the ceramic coated and if your going to spend the money, i would go stainless, kooks, qtp's. There will be a noise difference depending on the cat-back you have, i had a GGMG chambered cat-back and i liked it, loud and throaty, but everyone is different, heres a vid link of an ss with bolt-ons, to give you an idea of sound.
