Stimmel1647545512 Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 what let go? not a damn clue the heads look fine valves keeps retainers all look good i turned the head upside down filled the bowl with water sat there for 10 min didnt leak a drop my guess is the idiots helping me with the car dropped somehting in the intake when the upper was off... I have that fresh 302 with main studs eagle rods eagle/arp rod bolts and a trick flow stage one cam i might just throw in and run on stock heads since those gt40s need springs and gone through i dunno tho might just leave it in there and drive the jeep or i could get some new head bolts a head gasket it and half ass it and be easy on it... I dropped one of the upper to lower studs in an intake runner installing a spacer once and f-ed around for an hour trying to get it out.
