what let go?

not a damn clue the heads look fine valves keeps retainers all look good i turned the head upside down filled the bowl with water sat there for 10 min didnt leak a drop my guess is the idiots helping me with the car dropped somehting in the intake when the upper was off...

I have that fresh 302 with main studs eagle rods eagle/arp rod bolts and a trick flow stage one cam i might just throw in and run on stock heads since those gt40s need springs and gone through i dunno tho might just leave it in there and drive the jeep

or i could get some new head bolts a head gasket it and half ass it and be easy on it...

So, what was in there? Dropped valve?

Edit - Typed this right after first post and didn't send. Now has already been asked.

ill post a pic of the head its fine i think my little brother dropped a screw or washer down the intake oh well i would rather have him fuck up my car while learning rather than get mad at him and force him into the world of ricer losers

It's easy to do if you're not really careful. I dropped one of the upper to lower studs in an intake runner installing a spacer once and f-ed around for an hour trying to get it out. It's a good thing they sent only exactly as many studs as I needed because I didn't notice until I was one stud short.
