Wanted - A Realtor that is not a waste of time!

We want to list our home for sale again. We are in Galloway. So far, we suck at picking one. Is anyone here one? Anyone's family members? Willing to recommend anyone?

 

I expect a Realtor to work for their commission. I do not want someone who will just list our home on the internet, and not funnel bodies through the house to look.... We want someone who is actually going to be WORTH their price!

Steve Beaver was out of the ReMax office in Grove City about 7 years ago, my in-laws were happy with him, and he sold my house for asking price about 6.5 years ago. He wasn't bad, worth looking into.

She gets things done. Examples, DIRECTLY FOR ME:

 

- Sold our condo when the other two units on the market couldn't sell for the same money, one having a lot more money/updates invested in it (this was a year ago when the market was much worse than it was).

 

- Only reason we got our current home is because of her.

 

- She is a pit-bull (will fight for you), has a lot of connections, and eats, lives, and breathes being a realtor. She works 7 days a week, literally.

 

- Will tell you how it is. No sugar coating, and if something about the house isn't right, she will suggest what to do about it.

 

DO NOT pick a realtor because it is some dude's wife that you know, or a friend of the family. Pick someone that is recommended by someone who has actually used them.

 

MKVAaron on here used her as a buyer's agent, and has said he is very happy with the result.

Sell it yourself. It's easy.

 

Just make sure in your listing that you mention "Realtors are welcome" and that you will pay 3% (or whatever is reasonable/expected in your area) for the buyer's realtor fee.

 

Most buyer's realtors won't consider your house otherwise.

It is rare to find a realtor that does what you are saying. They list it and represent you in the sale, pretty much nothing more. They don't really have a list of clients looking for a house.
