You can literally set off a bomb in the motor, while its at full song, and it will just "take it" and shit its guts out. That 747 Could fly from NY to LA on 3 Engines without an issue. I agree to that-but unless its hit my a missile, that engine ain't going anywhere no matter what went though it. But when your 30,000 feet up, everything seems more sketchy.
