full cord of pine ? why would you want to burn pine. it sparks it has sap and it is not good for the fireplace. I can see putting a piece in maybe with some oak or maple but by itself,no way.

I use mine ALL the time during the winter, heats up my whole apt so much so i can turn off the heat.

 

To the OP, I'll let my girl's parents know. They usually buy 2 cords every winter b/c they run their fireplace almost 24/7 in the winter time.

but matt, the pieces are *usually* cut 2' long...i have an 8'x4' holder on my back patio that 1/2 cord fills up perfectly.
