smokin5s Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 you have to use the switch to turn it on, but also my old ventless fireplace I had at my old house in Blacklick, I would have to leave it set on pilot for about 5 min's before changing it over... the builder said it had something to do with the gas valve expanding or something.
