I have points leftover this year that my wife and I are not using.. Looking to get 800 for a week,...more if you want to go for a longer stay. This is for mountain view, rate goes up for oceanview/oceanfront.

If you want to go, let me know the dates and I'll check availability and if I have enough points to cover.

This is at the Kaanapali Beach club in Maui, also can be used at The Point at Poipu in Kauai.

Do you know how much difference there is for oceanfront?

800 a week for mtn view

1000 for ocean view

1200 for ocean front

all depends if the room is avail. Let me know dates and I can check.

I've stayed in all 3. Here are pics of the views..

How much for oceanfront august 28th for 7 days? How's airfare been in the past?

Yes, it's available... pricing for the different views are in my last post

Arrive on Aug 27th, leave on Sep 3. That's usually when we always go to celebrate our anniv (aug 30th) and my b-day (sep 2).

Last year, our flights were around 650 each. This was with US air who we have used 4 times. It has 1 stop in phoenix which is nice, breaks the flight up almost in half.

The most we have paid has been around 750 each and we've been to maui every year since 2004.

to be honest about the views... i usually go with the mountain view every time we've been out to maui. The only time we are in the room is to sleep, eat breakfast/lunch and get ready to go out at night.. That's just my personal preference, unless you like to sit on the balcony in the morning with some coffee/beer/mai tai and watch the ocean.

Hmmm....you're on my new buddy list :) I have enough US Air points to fly a few times for free.

My wife and her sisters usually go for to Hawaii for "girl time". Might be in touch. Getting ready to go on our second trip for the year. Not sure where we're going in the fall.

Got flights last year with US air for 750.. the same flight in 2009 was 685. this year, same flight is over 1000 :(

yeah, with prices going up everyday, i don't know if we will be going now. should have bought them last month, before they skyrocketed in price. i can't justify paying almost $3000 to fly 2 coach seats to Hawaii.

When are you going again?? You might want to look into flying to oahu, then get an island hopper.

also, check farecompare
