April Supra Meet in Columbus/Delaware

Go figure, I go out to get my car out of the garage this morning and the garage door is jammed shut. I was able to get maintenance out to fix it but they can't figure it out and doubt they will be able to get a garage specialist out today. Just my luck, my car is locked in the garage.

I hope I can figure something out.

I had a good time, I enjoyed meeting all of you, sorry I had to duck out early.. 2jsupra88 I loved your car it's badass. Doc, the century was nice, maybe next time you could take me for a spin. :) farkas, your car looks even better and lower in person, and it seemed to handle pretty well

Everyone else had nice cars as well, we will have to have another Toyota meet this year.

Thanks .... glad you liked it. Just ask and I'll let ya drive it. :)

Good to see you and your wife and little one make it out.

Nice turn-out on a very windy day. I enjoyed seeing some new cars and new faces. I hope you can make it out to some of the CR events planned for the spring and summer. Christian--great idea. Thanks!

Hmmm Ya a great time. I request that I be made into a senior member. Not a member for a week and already attend a meet. And show up at 1 and leave at 8. I was the 2nd one there and the last one to leave!

Hey, just want say thanks to those who came out. I was really suprised at the turnout given the date change and the crazy weather of late. We had well over a couple dozen people at one point from multiple forums (and quite a few who aren't a part of any) and the day actually turned out to be quite nice. Wind even died down later in the day. 3 generations of Supras were represented along with a few other automobiles. Nobody was a jackass and everyone got along great. Thanks again to those who helped with food, games, etc.

For those who stayed for the light cruise, thanks for coming along and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. I wish my suprise Bald Eagle stop would've been more fruitful than simply the silhouette of one eagle. :( Nobody crashed or broke down. Can't beat that.

I hope to set up a serious all day drive later on in the season. I will be scouting the area I have planned ahead of time so as to get a better idea of time, gas usage, stops, problem areas, etc before setting it up. This will not be for cars that are not fully prepared for rigorous driving, ie arent going to overheat (lotta elevation change), bad brakes or suspension (every kinda corner you can imagine - you will shit your pants more than once) or for drivers who's skill levels don't match their confidence. This isn't intended to be a large meet, anyway. I'll update when the time comes closer.

Hey guys, I was just talking to you about being a member here, and my shitty first post I made late last night, lol. Well I posted a proper intro thread when I got home, and must be the magical unicorns are smiling on me today because BAM, I am now a member! I had a lot of fun meeting you guys, and the cruise was great! Here are a few crappy cell phone pics until the good ones come from the other members!

was this a RHD century that was heading north on 23 around 4ish by chance?

did it look something like this?

http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/7_s2.jpg

if so, it was probably Doc.

if not, it was probably one of the many other RHD Toyota sedans around town.
