And i did some more polishing to one of the wheels and waxed that aswell. And I took of my old oil pan that was chipping paint and rusty, i took it to my work where i sand blasted the outside and then painted the outside. codyh Posted June 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 Actually I bought new bolts, nuts, and studs from honda last time i took it off to replace the oil pan gasket. It is not the center piece of my motor so I'm not to concerned about the paint job. Im also not concerned because this had rust on it and where the rust use to be is all pitted out after sand blasting. This will do just until I buy a moroso. Thanks Aaron. Not gonna be a dick gonna be informative! mil spec is not something you wrap the wires in... I assume you know this. Military specification harnesses for planes, tanks, and hondas (lol) are wrapped in something called DR-25 otherwise known as raychem. Pronounced ray-kem. I was sponsored by the person who made my harness, his company name is WIREWORX harnesses (407-388-5809 Xavier). He offered to give me a hell of a deal on raychem dr-25 and a milspec plug and wires. But i just dont see the point because i dont plan on driving my honda through a warzone. So instead I decided to just go with a mesh heat shrink wrapped harness with brand new plugs and wires. And labels. The heat shrink he gave me can also withstand a good amount of heat so it should be perfect for me. Thanks guys for the compliments. Many updates will follow once I start doing body work. Hopefully i can get all the body work done so I can have a professional paint it!!! I will be there when he paints it, but i prolly wont paint much. I dont have enough experience yet.
