Those body shop guys have eyes for dents, dings, andand primer waviness. And they circled it all for me to fix!!! They also were able to tell that my car has been painted black numerous times.

Said the top of this fender needs to be DA'ed and skimmed with body filler, and sanded again, and again and again!

And just an idea of the tools I am using! God bless these guys for letting me use all of their snap on stuff! All of it is snap on. Also I brought in a picture of Phunhaus's bay to help give them an idea.

Metal working guys used their hammer skills (which were amazing!!!!) to fix this area of warped metal, and grinded a piece to fit in there!!! It came out almost immaculant!! :) The boss and I were watching youtube videos of boosted supras on his phone while we were watching him work the metal! haha But i gaurentee i did alot of labor stuff. I just was not able to hammer metal like him..

Glad to see your taking a lot of pride in your build especially at 16. Most kids expect their parents to either buy the car or do all the work.

Also this is bringing up alot of memories with my dad and I building my first ride which is about 10 years in and on a 4th motor so be happy at the rate of progress your making.

Awesome! We have an '86 prelude. It's my husband's dd/winter car. Body/interior are in great shape just some rust (way less than you'd expect for the year)

My husband has been fixing all sorts of stuff on it, but no where to this extent. Nice job!

And thanks eric... Get your slow DSM build thread going!!! Or I may just have to walk 3 houses down and check it out for myself. haha

Also guys I have like 3 more very large updates... But im trying to space them out so you can actually grasp whats happening in each update. Cheers!

Ohh cool cool. So I have already met you in person. Lol so when I was talking about cars i actually did know a little bit when I was there... Cool.

Also on the letters on the VC. I wanted the letters to match the color of the spark plug cover. makes it look so much more clean.

Hey look, another Cody on the forum. My name is Cody as well, duh...

Two questions...well one question and one comment.

Comment: The car looks awesome, I'm truly impressed. I'm not sold on the stance, I never liked those kind of stances but if that's what you like then awesome.

Question: What wheels are you planning on running? I may have overlooked if you did mention. I hope it's not stock wheels, that kind of bodywork deserves good wheels. And for the love of God, please no two nice wheels in the back and two steelies up front...

Ya I thought I said what wheels but guess not. Also Im not sure exactly what you mean by stance. Considering there are no suspension parts on the new lude. Were you talking about the old one???

Anyways these are the wheels I will be running. I already own them so its not a "will be someday." kind of thing
