You could use it as a shoe insert I think? A1 should be reserved for shitty cuts of beef. 2) Good call. Salt and real butter is all you need. Maybe some white pepper. 3) Shiner Bock = a good beer on a hot day, not a good beer with a steak. Try an IPA, or something with a little more flavor to complement the meat, not just wash it down.
