Ohio Subaru breaks TT record

I was browsing the Autocar site and noticed something funny about this Subaru: it has an Ohio plate! Anyone know more about this?

I read about it on Autoblog but didnt notice the plate. That's kinda cool. The driver of the Subaru was originally from around Man. Dunno if he still lives there, though. No idea why it'd have an Ohio plate.

 

Autocar's a pretty good site, too. I do browse around it occasionally, myself.
