Was that the main reason you sold the GTO? Not sure I'd want to pack three kids in a car that tight even in a pinch. I'm sure it's fun though. Can't wait to see the pics. Reaction of the kids is fun. I need to get some of my kids like that.

Does your daughter always say "cool story bro" after you made the other video?

i forgot about the other videos. lol

2010 ctsv, automatic, bought it with 10k on the clock. traded in my GTO to the local dealer, and they found the car for me, delivered it from ohio, checked everything over, and replaced the stock wheels due to the fact they looked like shit. the kids love it, my wife can easily drive it if we go out. comfortable, fast, (too) quiet. might just get a catback, and intake for it

Hey, if you do go catback, check with others who have bought the same system. One of my friends had a V with a Lingenfelter (I think...) system and the noise in the back seat was HORRENDOUSLY loud. Front seat wasn't much more than stock, but little kids in the back would NOT be happy for long.

Wow, the CTS-V is cool, but the cute kids are even cooler. CR sure does have some cool dads. Time for some Recaro car seats?

everytime i sit back and realize all the stuff i used to do that i simply no longer have time to do (landscaping, mowing my own grass, home remodeling, major car projects/modifications, etc), i come to the realization of why i've given those things up. funny thing is, i've had the car for 3 weeks, and have been waiting to take some pics/vids of the car. when i got home from the y today, my kids told me they wanted to take a ride in the 'fast car'. my girls are twins---you can easily tell which one loves cars, and which one is a 'princess'

That's a really cool seat. Obviously you know how lucky you are for having "traded" all that stuff for a life with a family and kids.

Kirk;

Please don't take this as me being a smartass, but why didn't you get the CTS-V Wagon instead ?

My friend has an 09 V like yours and has some modifications. Motor makes

605 hp. Fun as all heck.

Chuck

PS---love the videos.

i actually considered the wagon, partly for the lulz factor, as well as the fact it would be just a bit more practical for me. i needed the ability to fit 3 across the back, which you can't do with the coupe.

i had a bunch of other cars in my sights as well::: M5, 911 turbo, X5/6M, AMG, cayenne turbo, etc. in the end, i've had a great experience with our local dealership in buying the vette, and wife's SUV. closest dealership that can work on any of the others mentioned above is an hour away--this made the decision to get the V all that much easier
