GSXRAntwon
Does anyone know of any local junk yards/salvage yards that you'd recommend to get a Chevy LQ4 motor from? I'm looking for a complete motor with wiring harness and accessories. TIA Thanks Eric

Cordell
Any of them that have a lot of trucks, like most of them south of C-bus down around Circleville. Try Deercreek, and I can't remember the other one down there, they always have them.

Cordell
Post up how much they run when you find out.....if you don't mind. Friend of mine picked up a high mileage LQ9 for about $800 iirc, complete engine. Since he is going to rebuild it the mileage didn't really matter, but they had LQ4s cheaper because they are more common. If going to rebuild buy an LQ4, everything is the same except for the pistons (lower compression) and I've seen those for $500-600.
