DaddyBuiltRacing
This upcoming weekend I am heading down to the Newport Aquarium with some family. We are looking for a place to eat while down there, not looking to spend an arm and a leg on food and must serve stuff that kids will eat. Any suggestions? Yeah I have heard of Izzy's, I downloaded their menu and the only thing holding me back is the fact that everything is made with corned beef. Im not a huge ruben fan although my wife is. My buddy told me about a place called LaRosa's Pizza, anyone been there?
Brrcats
Theres a place downtown called "just crepes". It serves a wide variety of different stuff all served in large crepes. About $5-7 range/crepe. Went there just this past weekend, got a sante fe, grilled chicken, mushrooms, cheese, and salsa. It was good shit. TimTaylor751647545500
There's a great place in Montgomery that may be worth checking out. http://www.jeffruby.com/carlojohnny.php
Akula
LaRosa's is pretty good. There are a pile of chili places out there, cincy style chili.
Last_in
Terry's Turf Club, is kind of a hole in the wall place. The best burger I have ever had in my life, I've been there a few times and every time, it's just as good. http://rodeo.cincinnati.com/ent2/entity.aspx?e=215894 Rock Bottom, downtown has pretty good steak. I've seen families in there a few times. http://www.rockbottom.com/cincinnati Montgomery Inn on the Ohio River. Good view of the Ohio River, family friendly. http://www.montgomeryinn.com/ Arthur's Cafe in Hyde Park, is pretty dang good too. They are also family friendly. http://arthurscincinnati.com/ I can think of more places, but they are not family friendly and expensive. Like, Boi Na Braza downtown. I've eaten there a few times, it's so good and worth the $50 per person bill. Make sure you don't eat all day if you go there, you get your moneys worth. http://www.boinabraza.com/ Name a place, and I might of eaten there. Haha, I don't know how to cook. jerrodh
La rosa's is a chain, theres some in Dayton for example. Its good pizza, but nothing out of the normal. I'd rather have donatos.

Having kids with you, I'd go to Montgomery Inn. They can watch the tug boats go by. If it were just adults, Terry's all the way.

It isn't too far from the aquarium, on the Cincinnati side of the river.

I read your post in the other thread. Yeah, the wait sucks, the winter time wait is the worst though, standing out side in the cold. Dang, didn't know they opened that late, my b. I usually go out to eat late though.
DaddyBuiltRacing
Haha you're good man, I can only imagine the wait in the winter. I even mentioned as we sat there "thank god its not raining".
