OK I talked with this guy today:

It sounds like he may actually consider my $13k offer if he is not getting bites.

WOW! I will hold onto this slight chance of hope for now.

-OEM 18" titanium package wheels(installed at 22k miles)

-Koni FSD/Eibach pro kit(installed at 32k miles

I am trying to convince my wife on this one.

I want to offer 14k and see if he takes it. It is CPO under warranty until 2/2012.

OK he offered it for $13,900

Wife said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what all do I need to do to buy this thing out of state?

Any thing else I should do?

how much is sales tax etc going to be?

EDIT: The CPO cannot be transferred, bummer.

"I have all keys, all service records from when the car was new, and it's still CPO'ed until 2/17/12 (although unfortunately CPO does not transfer to a new owner, but we can do one last check of the car at an audi dealer and have them do a full inspection for your peace of mind).

As for the airport, LGA is closest to me, about a 25 minute drive from my house. I can pick you up.

For the chip, GIAC has a handheld flash loader that you connect to the OBDII port, and you can choose either the stock program or the performance program. I have the flash loader and will give it to you.

Please get back to me at your convenience."

Take a cashiers check to his bank or wire transfer the money while you both sit in the bank office. Once the money clears, you walk away with the car, both sets of keys AND THE TITLE!!!

Personally, I am very careful how I complete the transfer. Make sure you type up a "Bill of Sale" with everything you need/want listed on it to protect yourself. If you don't do the sale at a bank, then I would do it at a police station or somewhere you feel safe (if you are traveling to NY) out of town.

Sales tax will be whatever price you agreed on and put on the bill of sale. When you come back to OH (or wherever you live) and title/license/register it, you will pay tax on the spot and not until then.

Nice, post pics when you pick it up.

Will do!

Good news! "I do have title in hand, paid off so it's lien free."

I think I am going to put down a huge downpayment and get a small $3k loan for 3 years.

Any ideas how this will work? I guess I should start by calling my bank...

Talked to my bank a few years ago about getting a $10k loan on a $15k car.

Just a car loan at car loan rates with car loan rules. I would imagine any loan, assuming amount loaned is less than the car is 'wroth' will be the same.

FYI, I think a lot of them will have penalties for terminating too early if you plan to pay it off. It wasn't too bad, but just something to consider and ask about.

thanks!

This car has the nav plus bluetooth.

I want to listen to mp3s on my 10 hour drive home.

What is my best option since it appears there is not a input jack?

It appears I can get a non SDHC SD card in 2GB (or 4GB if I can find one).

Can a pair my android phone via bluetooth and play mp3s through it that way?

Any other ideas appreciated! Long term and short term for the immediate drive home.

Thanks!

Yes, largest car you will find around locally is 2gb, if you can find them.

I had to order from newegg twice to get non sdhc.

Once you get it, you can add an AUX in pretty easily. I did and love it for Pandora/ MP3 via the phone.

Looks like newegg is OOS of 4gb transend SD? any other source?

So can I pair with the factory bluetooth to play mp3s?

what do you recommend I purchase to get the aux input long term?

There is a right up on audizine about it.

If I can find it, I'll send it to you. Its an 100% oem thing. Pull radio, plug in harness, run through glove-box and recode via VAGCOM.

NO bluetooth streaming!
