V8 Beast
I just don't understand? It's a higher flow filter- more air= more HP? I guess the dyno doesnt lie though because possessed car
Protection
If I wanted to test a new maf.. Could I pull one off a gtp? Or something different?
Cordell
Well the airbox actually has a big enough opening for a paper air filter to pass enough cfm that a K&N isn't really worth it. and the MAF needs to be the same for the car, most of them are different, so if you look up part numbers you could find something the same to try. Not Brian
Aren't the '98-'99 mafs different than the '00-'02's

Well that was a waste of 65$

gillbot
I still use paper filters, I can live without the imaginary power bump. Actually I think Brian Carter said his car lost 5hp when he installed one. I made more power on a paper filter than a K&N. We even spent hours on the Dyno trying to "tune" the K&N to gain, still made more with the paper filter.
Protection
Well I know what I'm taking back for a o2 sensor. Lolz
Protection
Going to pull off the TB again tomorrow. I didn't replace the gasket when I ported it. Gonna double check it to make sure it doesn't have any cracks. GBracing81 used his modis on it today. The o2's were operating but reading low voltage under higher throttle. I bought 4 new o2 sensors for 25$ a piece. When they get here I will see if the car still acts up.

01WS6
Truth, I'm currently running a paper filter from O'reilly's. 438.8 on motor with K&N, 444 without... but my car is also possessed How ironic mine did the same with paper filter and K&N lol
DKilbourne
New fuel filter fixed it. Good to hear that it was an inexpensive fix.
